Reading a Provider’s Credentials

Credentials vary by discipline. Naturopathic doctors hold an ND license in licensed states. Acupuncturists are LAc and often Dipl. OM. Herbalists may be AHG-RH or have completed clinical training programs. Look for transparent scope of practice, clear informed consent, and a willingness to collaborate with your conventional care team.
